We're working on a CouchDB replacement for thinking sphinx for search. Stay tuned. We'll open source the resulting plugin if it works :)

What's more interesting to me than the companies presenting at the TechCrunch50 are the TC50 Backstage interviews. I recommend them all.
Writing a post about the future of web applications. The future is bright.
Making a run for the first Red Bull I've had in about a week. That is a new record for me.
Today's agenda is jam packed, and includes troubleshooting a Windows server. Yes I'm serious. I can still kick my IT skillz yo.

Now that the President's address is over, it's back to learning about CouchDB.
"We did not come here to fear the future, we came here to shape it." Pure awesome.
Options and competition are good for the consumer. We need more of it in healthcare.
So far I really like what President Obama is saying about healthcare. It is much needed change.
Has anyone seen any recent benchmarks for Phusion Passenger? If so please ping me with a link. Thanks.

Got CouchDB installed on Ubuntu 9.04, but no go on my Mac. Time to go command-line style.
It's happening. Technology is becoming completely ingrained in our culture and everything we do. Just watch TV. You can't hide any more.
Installing Ubuntu 9.04 Server in VMware Fusion on Snow Leopard is extremely fast and installs VMware tools for me. Pure awesome.
Just minutes away from a long weekend. Looking forward to doing a whole lotta nothing, nothing but fun with the family.

What do you recommend for mind mapping software? I'd like to be able to connect multiple main ideas and their branches. Thanky.
